On the afternoon of September 3, Mr. Le Van Quyet - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Hoa commune, Quynh Luu district confirmed that a drowning incident had just occurred in the area, causing the death of a 21-year-old man.
Previously, on the evening of September 2, Mr. Ho Vinh Hiep (born in 1998, residing in Toan Luc village, An Hoa commune) while fishing with his father in the field bordering Quynh Yen commune, unfortunately Mr. Hiep slipped and fell into a deep pond and drowned.
The father panicked and called everyone to come and rescue him. However, when they pulled him out of the water, the victim was dead.
On the same morning, local authorities visited and expressed condolences and buried the victim with the family.
