The victim was Nguyen Tien Giap (20 years old) from Xuan Thao hamlet, Thanh Xuan commune. Giap went to Taiwan to work in Toulin - Taichung. On the afternoon of November 2, while going to the river to catch fish with his friends, Giap drowned at 3:20 p.m.

Currently, the family in the hometown is completing the procedures to authorize Mr. Giap's younger brother to go to Taiwan to bring the body of his relative back to Vietnam. It is known that Mr. Giap's family has many siblings and the family's living conditions are difficult.
