The strong collision caused the motorbike and "backpacker" Tran Minh Chien to stick to the front of the truck.

On the afternoon of February 12, "backpacker" Tran Minh Chien (21 years old), residing in Thu Duc district (Ho Chi Minh City), drove a motorbike with license plate 59X3 - 082.95 at high speed from Da Lat to Ho Chi Minh City.

"Backpacker" stuck to the front of the truck.

When reaching the curve at Km102, National Highway 20, passing Bao Loc Pass, due to not being able to control the speed, he crossed the lane, crashing head-on into a truck with license plate 60C - 161.91 driven by Vu Van Anh Doan (37 years old) in the opposite direction.

The strong collision caused the motorbike and the “traveler” Tran Minh Chien to be stuck to the front of the truck. Some passersby had to find a way to free the victim, get him out and take him to the hospital in critical condition.

Authorities were then present to block off the scene, regulate traffic on Bao Loc pass and investigate to determine the cause of the accident.
