Until now, the officers and soldiers of Hanh Dich Border Post, Que Phong District, Nghe An still have not forgotten the case coded 321L on September 28, 2013.
At that time, through the work of grasping the situation, the station received information from the masses that two subjects had entered the area to contact, entice, and deceive a number of "mountain girls" who were in difficult family circumstances. The case was established by Hanh Dich Border Guard Station. At 6:20 p.m. on September 28, at km 406, National Highway 1A in Quynh Giang commune, Quynh Luu district, the crime-solving force coordinated with the Traffic Police, Nghe An Provincial Police to check the passenger car with license plate 14B - 00439 running on the Nghe An - Mong Cai route and caught two subjects red-handed on the way to Mong Cai (Quang Ninh) to sell to China.

Through investigation, the two subjects revealed their names as Lang Thi Mai, born in 1981, residing in Moong village, Cam Muon commune, Que Phong district, Nghe An province and Vi Thi Hieu, born in 1981, residing in Pieng Chao village, Chau Kim commune, Que Phong district, Nghe An province. Both were victims of human trafficking, both married in China, now returned to their hometown, looking for people to sell for profit.
Ms. Luong Thi Thu in Khom village, Hanh Dich commune, Que Phong district is one of the three victims rescued in this project.
Recalling that time, Ms. Thu said: "After listening to the words of my "fellow countrymen" that going to the other side would be easy to find a job, with high salaries, etc., I did not doubt it and followed what they told me. It was only when the border guards rescued me and told me that I was being sold that I was shocked. For me, after being rescued by the soldiers and brought home, I felt like I was reborn."
It is worth mentioning that from the tragedy and pain she experienced, she became a propagandist, actively participating in women's activities. Currently, she is holding the position of Head of the Women's Association of Khom village. Every day, she and the soldiers of Hanh Dich border post go to each house to propagate and encourage people not to be deceived by bad guys, not to cross the border illegally...
Ms. Thu's strong stand, in addition to her own efforts, also shows the effectiveness of the propaganda, prevention and fight against human trafficking crimes of the officers and soldiers of Hanh Dich Border Guard Station.
To proactively combat human trafficking crimes, the Party Committee and the Command Board of the Border Guard Station identified this as a key, regular and long-term task, issued leadership resolutions and developed plans for implementation. Arranged forces to strengthen patrols, strictly controlled people and vehicles entering and leaving the border area; clearly understood the plots, methods and tricks of all types of subjects, proactively proposed effective measures to combat.

Captain Cao Van Cam - Deputy Political Commissar of Hanh Dich Border Guard Station said that to achieve high efficiency, the station has coordinated with local authorities to propagate and mobilize people, focusing on pointing out the plots, methods and tricks of the subjects, especially human trafficking criminals, so that people can clearly perceive the plots and tricks, and be vigilant against being lured and bribed by the subjects.
In addition to the work of building political bases, strengthening national defense and security, in recent years, Hanh Dich Border Guard Station has also focused on building economic development models to help people. In the past two years alone, the unit has helped people successfully build two livestock development models, earning over 13 million VND/household each year. It is worth mentioning that thanks to a stable life, the security and order situation in Hanh Dich commune has been maintained. Since 2013, especially after Project 321L, there have been no more human trafficking cases.

"Every month, the border guards and the commune government go down to the villages through people's meetings to propagate the contents of the state's laws. In addition, the team of village elders coordinates to do a good job of preventing human trafficking and drug crimes. Since then, people's awareness of the law has been raised, so the situation of law violations by people has decreased significantly. Over the years, the station has truly become a support for the army and people of Hanh Dich," said Mr. Luong Tien Le.
