Dien Chau enforced more than 1,000 cases of encroachment on traffic safety corridors

(Baonghean.vn) - At present, all 39 communes and towns of Dien Chau district have organized inspections and clearance of the first peak traffic safety corridor, enforcing 1,144 violations.

According to statistics, the entire Dien Chau district has more than 4,900 cases of traffic safety corridor violations that need to be cleared, including 202 cases of violations involving permanent houses, 2,198 cases of violations involving kiosks and tents, and 2,248 cases of violations involving trees, billboards, etc.

Of the total 4,915 violations, 4,657 signed a commitment to dismantle and not repeat the offense. The number of households that voluntarily dismantled the violating structures was 2,865.

Currently, the communes have officially launched the first phase of forced clearance. In the first phase, each commune launched at least 2 times, with an average of 30 people participating in each phase. As a result, 1,144 cases were forced to be cleared. The number of remaining violations that have not been enforced and need to consolidate records is 258 cases.

Due to the many key routes passing through, the volume of clearance in Dien Chau area is very large. Especially on National Highway 1A, there are up to 1,572 violations, 789 households have voluntarily dismantled illegal constructions.

Currently, communes and towns are continuing to propagate, mobilize and prepare legal documents to organize the second phase of the campaign, continuing to enforce cases of intentional violations and non-voluntary demolition, expected to be completed before July 30./.
