Dien Chau strives to contain dengue fever
(Baonghean.vn) - After detecting a dengue fever outbreak in Dien Thinh commune, along with directing treatment for patients, Dien Chau district is conducting zoning, spraying chemicals to suppress the epidemic, and preventing it from spreading widely.

After 3 days of outbreak, up to now in Dien Thinh commune, Dien Chau district, there have been 8 patients positive for dengue fever, all in hamlet 11B. Along with directing the treatment for the patients, Dien Chau Medical Center has isolated the epidemic area and provided 30 liters of chemicals, 6 mosquito sprayers to spray at 395 households in hamlets 11A, 11B, the medical station area, schools and headquarters of Dien Thinh commune People's Committee.
In addition, the Medical Center also sent staff directly to households to inspect and provide instructions on how to kill mosquitoes, larvae, and pupae, and maintain a clean environment.
