Dien Chau: Train hits car at barrier

At the above time, train number NA1 (route Hanoi - Vinh) was running at a level crossing with National Highway 7 when it suddenly crashed into a truck with license plate 37C 15220 traveling from Dien Chau to Do Luong.

The head-on collision at the level crossing caused the car to flip to the left side of the road, damaging the train’s front end. The car’s owners, Nguyen Van Ho and his wife Nguyen Thi Thao (from Do Luong), were injured and were taken to the hospital by local residents.

Authorities were present to handle the incident.

Immediately after the accident, the NA1 tourist train made an emergency stop to handle the incident. At 6am, railway authorities and Dien Chau district police arrived to verify and investigate the incident.
