Nghe An Athletics has more athletes attending SEA Games 31
(Baonghean.vn) - Recently, female athlete O Thi Nga of Nghe An Sports Training and Competition Center was selected by the Vietnam Athletics Coaching Board to participate in the 31st SEA Games.

O Thi Nga was born in the mountainous district of Nghia Dan, Nghe An. Although she was only born in 2001, Nga soon showed her talent in individual short distance running.
In 2020, female athlete Nghia Dan won a Bronze Medal in the 200m individual event at the National Athletics Championship.
In previous tests and examinationsSEA Games 31, at a distance of 100m, O Thi Nga completed the test with a time of 11.9s; at a distance of 200m it was 24.6s.
Ms. Ha Thi Kim Anh - Head of the Athletics Department of Nghe An Sports Training and Competition Center commented: "O Thi Nga is one of the outstanding female athletes of Nghe An at this time. Based on professional evaluation criteria, she always shows that she has very special qualities. If she is mentally prepared, Nga will most likely achieve good results at this congress."

In order to promptly encourage the province's elite athletes to participate in the 31st SEA Games, on this occasion, a delegation of the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong - Deputy Director of the Department came to meet and encourage 5 Nghe An athletes to attend the congress.

At the training locations, the Deputy Director of the Department highly appreciated the efforts of the athletes in completing the final training plans of the coaching board, to enter the tournament with the best performance. He also hoped that with the spirit of always overcoming difficulties of the children of Nghe An, the athletes would step onto the competition floor with the highest will, bringing glory to the Fatherland, honor to the province. Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong also wished the athletes to maintain their health and complete their set goals.
