Nghe An Electricity strives to reach 2.4 billion kWh of commercial electricity

(Baonghean.vn) -In 2015, Nghe An Power Company's commercial electricity output reached 1,920.5 million kWh, an increase of 12.89% compared to 2014 and 101.1% of the plan.

On the morning of December 11, Nghe An Electricity Company held a conference for electricity customers in 2015. Attending the conference were companies, factories, businesses... using large amounts of electricity.

In 2015, the Company's commercial electricity output reached 1,920.5 million kWh, an increase of 12.89% compared to 2014 and 101.1% of the assigned plan. Of which, the construction industry sector accounted for 30.86%, an increase of 8.6%; the management and consumption sector accounted for 54.82%, an increase of 8.1%.

The Company's average electricity price in 2015 reached 1,627 VND/kwh, an increase of 7.4 VND/kwh compared to the plan assigned by the Northern Power Corporation and an increase of 136 VND/kwh compared to 2014.

Power loss this year is 9.89%, lower than the whole year plan by 0.01%, down 1.01% compared to 2014.

Nearly 300 customers representing companies, factories and businesses attended the conference.

From the beginning of the year to the end of November, the Company has connected electricity to 6 communes without national grid electricity and it is expected that by the end of December, the Company will connect all remaining communes in mountainous districts: Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Quy Chau, bringing 439/439 communes to the national grid electricity.

In 2015, the Company received 427 communes with a total of 717,744 customers. In December, implementing the customer appreciation month, Nghe An Electricity Company repaired and replaced the power grid system after the meter for 100 poor households and policy households, with a support amount of 385 million VND.

By many forms of energy saving, in 2015 Nghe An Electricity Company saved 384.38 kWh, accounting for 2.03% of commercial electricity, reaching 133% compared to the plan assigned by the Corporation.

During the year, the Company has applied new technology in customer service such as: Deploying electronic invoices; recording indexes using HHU devices; customer transaction software; payment of electricity bills via electronic portal with customers; online business reporting; installation of electronic meters and remote data collection...

Mr. Le Thai - Director of XURI Viet Trung Seafood By-products Processing Company Limited reported that the temporary power outage and unreasonable power restoration in Dien Chau district affected the production line of the unit.

At the conference, representatives of a number of companies, factories and businesses expressed their opinions suggesting that Nghe An electricity industry should coordinate more closely and appropriately to provide and repair electricity more promptly, limit damage to production lines; hand over some transformer stations to customers for use; should not allow household customers to share transformer stations with pumping stations and many other issues regarding upgrading power lines.

In 2016, Nghe An Electricity Company strives to achieve commercial electricity output of 2.4 billion kWh; electricity loss rate of 8%; average selling price of 1,646 VND/kwh; saving 1.5% of commercial electricity.
