Adjusting coastal road section through Nghe An

The Prime Minister agreed to adjust the route and investment progress of the coastal road, the section passing through Nghe An province in the Vietnam Road Detailed Planning approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 129/QD-TTg dated January 18, 2010.

The Prime Minister assigned the People's Committee of Nghe An province to coordinate with the Ministry of Transport to study and organize the investment in the construction of the coastal road, the section passing through Nghe An province, ensuring savings, efficiency and compliance with legal regulations.

The coastal route through Nghe An province is about 90km long with the scale of a grade III road, the starting point borders Thanh Hoa province in Quynh Lap commune, Hoang Mai town, Nghe An province, the end point intersects with the Lam riverside road and connects with Ha Tinh province at Cua Hoi bridge in the Detailed planning of Vietnam's coastal roads approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 129/QD-TTg dated January 18, 2010.

The adjustment of the coastal route through Nghe An province aims to accelerate the investment progress of the coastal route, taking advantage of the sections that have been invested in by the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee in the recent past. Reducing the volume of site clearance, ensuring compliance with some adjusted plans (General planning for Vinh City construction, Dong Hoi Industrial Park planning...) and implementing investment in some routes in the area related to the coastal route is necessary./.
