Quick investigation of murder case in Nghe An border village

On October 29, 2021, Anh Son District Police received a report from Phuc Son Commune Police about the case of Mr. Vi Van Bien, born in 1974, residing in Cao Veu 4 Village, Phuc Son Commune, who died in his family's house for unknown reasons.
Upon receiving the report, the Criminal Police Team coordinated with the General Investigation Team to quickly conduct verification.investigateInitial assessment found that the victim had many injuries and signs of unusual death.
After reporting to the provincial police leadership to receive instructions on solving the case, through screening and checking, the Investigation Police Agency identified the number 1 suspect as Vi Van Kham (born in 1979, residing in Ban Veu 4, Phuc Son), Kham is Bien's brother-in-law (Kham's mother-in-law is Bien's mother's younger sister). During the investigation, Vi Van Kham confessed to all of his crimes.

According to Kham's testimony, on the evening of October 28, 2021, Bien and Kham went together to visit Bien's brother-in-law who had an accident and was being treated at Anh Son District Medical Center. At around 11 p.m. the same day, Kham and Bien went back to Kham's house to have dinner.
After dinner, Bien left Kham's house but said he wouldn't go home. Kham told Bien, "If you don't go home to sleep, I'll beat you."
Mr. Bien replied: "If you want to be rough, then rough." Kham took a bamboo stick near his gate and hit Bien on the head. Mr. Bien ran away and slipped and fell near the bridge behind Kham's house. Kham carried Mr. Bien home and told Bien's son to change his clothes and apply oil to him. At dawn on October 29, 2021, his family discovered Mr. Bien dead.
