Investigation into the leak of civil servant exam questions in Ca Mau
Nearly four months after the civil service exam questions in Ca Mau were leaked, the police have opened a case to investigate.
On September 24, Ca Mau Provincial Police initiated a case of Extortion to investigate the leak of civil service exam questions on the subject of Inspection Specialized Knowledge.
According to records, at the end of May, Mr. Le Tan Thuan - former Deputy Chief Inspector of Ca Mau province (currently a senior inspector) reported to the police that he was "asked" for money by Mr. Tieu Truong Son - former employee working at Dam Doi District Inspectorate.
At the same time, Mr. Son was discovered selling a set of civil service exam questions for the Inspectorate Specialized Knowledge subject to a number of candidates. When invited to the police station for questioning, Mr. Son confessed that the source of the documents he was selling was provided by Mr. Thuan.

Regarding the incident, Ca Mau province directed the review of seven related officials at the request of the investigation agency.
Previously, on the afternoon of May 27, candidates taking the civil service exam in Ca Mau had to leave when the exam questions for the specialized knowledge of inspection were leaked.
The Provincial Inspectorate is the unit responsible for preparing the question source to create the exam question bank, then finalizing 10 questions to send to the Examination Council to complete the official questions.
The subject of Specialized Knowledge (administrative inspection and complaint settlement inspection) has 85 candidates taking the exam to select 6 people.
