This year, the Victory Day of April 30 and International Labor Day of May 1 fall on Saturday and Sunday, which are weekly days off, so workers will have compensatory days off on Monday (May 2) and Tuesday (May 3) of the following week, i.e. 4 consecutive days off, from April 30, 2022 to May 3, 2022.
The above holiday schedule applies to cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of administrative agencies, public service agencies, political organizations, and socio-political organizations. Agencies and organizations that do not implement a fixed 2-day holiday schedule every Saturday and Sunday must base on the specific program and plan of the unit to arrange a suitable holiday schedule.
Therefore, if businesses still organize work on Saturdays, on the occasion of April 30 - May 1, employees will only have 3 days off.
