Parallel parking - a mandatory skill for Vietnamese drivers from April 1

In addition to vertical parking, candidates who want to park their driving license need to take an additional test to park horizontally.

The current regulations for driving license exams for B1, B2, C, D, E cars in Vietnam include a theory test and a practical test. The practical test includes a parking test, which is to reverse the car into a space with a limited size. This test will be more difficult from April 1.

Circular58/2015/TT of the Ministry of Transport stipulates that the driving test in the picture for B1, B2, C licenses will have an additional part of parallel parking next to the previous vertical parking. This regulation takes effect from April 1. Currently, only D and E licenses must take the parallel parking test.

Parallel parking is the process of backing into a parking space when you are limited by the front and rear of two other cars. This skill is not easy to perform, even for experienced drivers if you do not practice regularly.
