The Provincial National Assembly Delegation congratulated a number of units on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army.

On the morning of December 20, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024), the Provincial National Assembly Delegation visited and congratulated the Provincial Veterans Association; visited and expressed gratitude to the wounded soldiers at the Center for Nursing Wounded Soldiers, Nghe An Psychiatric Wounded Soldiers Nursing Area.

The delegation included National Assembly delegates: Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Tran Nhat Minh - Member of the National Assembly's Law Committee, full-time National Assembly delegate of Nghe An Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

Also attending were representatives of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council; Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council; leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

Visiting and congratulating the Provincial Veterans Association on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, comrade Thai Thi An Chung - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation acknowledged the Association's activities in the patriotic emulation movement and the socio-economic development program of the country and the province.

The Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation expressed his deep gratitude and best wishes to the veterans and their families; hoping that the veterans would uphold and promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers and continue to make many contributions to the cause of building the homeland and the country.

Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi - Chairman of the Veterans Association of Nghe An province expressed his thanks for the attention of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, the coordination and support of agencies, departments, branches and organizations that have accompanied the Veterans Association at all levels to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

The Veterans Association of Nghe An province will continue to unite and promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new period; successfully complete all tasks assigned by the Party and the People; be a positive factor with many important contributions, worthy of the trust of the Party Committee, government and people of the province.

Visiting the Center for Nursing Wounded Soldiers, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation expressed deep gratitude for the sacrifices and losses of wounded soldiers for the peace and independence of the Fatherland today.

The provincial National Assembly delegation also visited, congratulated and expressed gratitude to war invalids at the Nghe An Mental Health Nursing Center on the occasion of the founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army.

Nghe An Psychiatric Wounded War Rehabilitation Center was established in 1974 with the task of receiving, managing, treating, and caring for seriously wounded and sick soldiers.

Currently, Nghe An Psychiatric Nursing Center for War Invalids cares for and treats 56 seriously wounded and sick soldiers from Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces who participated in the resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism, protecting the border, performing international duties, and one lonely martyr's wife with no one to rely on.
