Delegation of Gwangju city (Korea) offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 28, during the visit and working program in Nghe An, Mr. Mun Yeong Hoon - Deputy Mayor of Gwangju City (South Korea) and the working delegation came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site.

At the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, the delegation of Gwangju City (Korea) respectfully offered flowers and incense to express deep respect and commemorate the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - Hero of Vietnamese national liberation, outstanding cultural figure, outstanding activist of the international communist and workers' movement.
President Ho Chi Minh devoted and sacrificed his life to the cause of national liberation, class liberation, and the struggle for peace and happiness of the Vietnamese people and people of the world.

Also at the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, artists and the traditional orchestra of Gwangju city performed 3 art pieces including traditional songs and folk dances, making the audience extremely excited and impressed. In addition, artists of Gwangju city also performed calligraphy of poems in the collection Prison Diary of President Ho Chi Minh.
Previously, during the visit and working session in Nghe An, the delegation of Gwangju city paid a courtesy visit to Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung; held talks and signed memoranda of understanding and cooperation agreements between the authorities and Councils of the two localities; held a tourism exhibition; visited the Korean College of Technology; and participated in e-sports exchanges....

The exchange and cooperation activities of the two localities come at a time when Vietnam and South Korea are celebrating 30 years of establishing diplomatic relations.
In September 2022, a working delegation from Nghe An province led by Mr. Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also visited and worked with the leaders of Gwangju city. This is an opening activity, a milestone marking the connection, understanding and development in the friendly cooperative relationship between the two localities.

Gwangju is the 6th largest city in Korea, known as the city of light. This city is considered the breadbasket of Korea and is the venue for the famous Kimchi Culture Festival.
Gwangju is famous not only for its beautiful land, but also for its artistic cultural landscapes, celadon pottery, traditional pansori music, and rich cuisine.
