Japanese enterprises want to buy Nghe An rice bran
(Baonghean.vn) - In order to learn about the source of raw materials for rice bran oil production, a Japanese business delegation conducted a survey at a number of rice production and trading establishments in Dien Chau and Yen Thanh.

With the support of JICA and Nghe An province, on the morning of March 6, the delegation visited and learned about the production and business situation at a number of rice milling facilities in the food processing craft village of Dien Ky commune (Dien Chau).
Currently, this craft village has about 46 households, with an average output of 200 tons/month/household, serving the market in and outside the province, and also exporting finished rice to some countries such as Laos, China, etc.

Tsuno Company was established in 1947, with a revenue of about 20,000 million yen/year, and is one of the world's leading enterprises with high technology to produce a variety of products containing oil from rice bran. |
Talking with business households, the Japanese delegation thoroughly learned about the origin of rice, milling process, yield and quality of rice bran, price fluctuations... and received specific answers from the business owners.
Accordingly, the main input is rice purchased in Dien Chau and Yen Thanh or brown rice imported from the southern provinces. After the milling process, on average 10 tons of brown rice produces 9 tons of white rice and 1 ton of bran, the rice bran is sold to neighboring livestock households or animal feed production enterprises in the province.

On the same morning, the delegation also visited the production facility of Vinh Hoa Company Limited in Vinh Thanh Commune (Yen Thanh), learned about the ability to supply rice bran and heard more about the company's agricultural products applying science and technology.
