Nghe An tourism revenue in the first quarter reached 1,293 billion VND
(Baonghean.vn) - In the first quarter of 2018, the number of tourists visiting Nghe An continued to increase, especially tourists following cultural, spiritual, festival, and eco-tourism programs before and after the Lunar New Year.

Many places have a large number of visitors such as: Kim Lien relic site, Dai Tue Pagoda, Hoang Muoi Temple, Truong Bon historical relic site, Con temple, Muong Thanh Dien Lam eco-tourism area, Co Am pagoda... In particular, the appearance of the Tam Giac Mach flower hill tourist experience site in Nghia Dan district has created a new wave for tourists in the first days of 2018, especially young people.
The number of international visitors in the first quarter also increased compared to many years, including during the Lunar New Year.As a result, the province welcomed and served a total of 1,363,000 tourists in the quarter; of which, 826,900 were overnight guests, equal to 110% compared to the same period in 2017, including 25,000 international guests, an increase of 9% compared to the same period in 2017.

In the first quarter, the total tourism revenue of the province is estimated at 1,293 billion VND, equal to 110% compared to the same period in 2017; of which tourism service revenue is estimated at 598 billion VND, equal to 110% compared to the same period in 2017.
