'Unique' 3-wheeled motorbike runs 261 km/h on rainwater
A French athlete named Francois Gissy has created a 3-wheeled motorcycle that reaches a maximum speed of up to 261 km/h. Notably, the vehicle is powered by rainwater.
It sounds absurd, but this car has really surprised many people because its speed is no less than a racing car.

Francois Gissy's car accelerates from 0 - 60 miles (96 km/h) in just 0.55 seconds before reaching a top speed of 261 km/h. The remarkable point is that this 3-wheeled motorcycle only uses water placed in a tank and then compressed at very high pressure.
Thus, Gissy's 3-wheeled motorbike broke the previous record belonging to the Trike with a speed of 245 km/h.
Francois's motorcycle was a three-wheeled machine, but it didn't have an internal combustion engine. Instead, it was powered by a giant water rocket. He then tested it on a drag race track at Le Castellet in France.

Gissy shared on his YouTube channel that he wanted to build his own record-breaking inventions, and the vehicles were made from materials available in his garage.
Accordingly, Francois used a carbon fiber-coated aluminum water tank. Applying his understanding of physics, Francois operated his tricycle by storing up to 132.5 liters of rainwater and put it into the rocket as fuel. Then pump compressed air into the rocket at a pressure of 6,000 psi and they can launch into the sky.

The operating principle of the vehicle is to use the thrust of water and compressed air to accelerate. |
Francois had this idea since 2009, but he has only now officially implemented it. The operating principle of this rocket is very simple. After fueling it with water and compressed air, Francois just needs to release the water, using the thrust of the water and compressed air to accelerate his car.
Previously in 2014, Gissy was also the one who broke the world record with a rocket-powered bicycle and reached a speed of 207 miles per hour in 4.8 seconds.
