Comprehensive innovation, step by step building the Provincial Political School to meet level 1 standards
(Baonghean.vn) - The scientific workshop "Improving the quality of training and fostering at Nghe An Provincial Political School, meeting the requirements of a level 1 standard political school" took place on the morning of November 4. Thereby, assessing the current situation and proposing solutions to comprehensively develop the training and fostering of cadres in the new period.

The workshop is a scientific forum to assess the current situation, summarize, draw lessons and propose solutions to clarify scientific arguments to continue to innovate and synchronously develop the training and fostering work of the Provincial Political School in the period of 2021 - 2025. This is also an activity to concretize Regulation No. 11-QD/TW dated May 19, 2021 of the Secretariat on standard political schools.
The workshop listened to 13 research papers and many contributions from the school's staff and lecturers with many new contents, rich in practicality and quite comprehensively reflecting the work of training and fostering political theory in the current period.
The presentations focused on clarifying the basic issues related to the meaning and importance of Regulation No. 11-QD/TW of the Secretariat on standard political schools in contributing to improving the quality of training and fostering cadres, scientific research, summarizing practices and other activities of political schools. From there, the position and role of scientific research and summarizing practices in improving the quality of training and fostering in the new period were determined.

Acknowledging the enthusiastic contributions of the delegates at the workshop, Principal of the Provincial Political School Le Thi Hoai Chung emphasized that the quality of training and fostering is the leading factor determining the existence and development of the school. In recent years, clearly defining the functions and tasks for training and fostering cadres, Nghe An Provincial Political School has had many solutions to improve the quality of teaching and learning, successfully completing all assigned political tasks.
However, the training and fostering work still has shortcomings and limitations such as: some units have not implemented the recruitment and opening of classes according to the plan; some districts, cities and towns have insufficient facilities and service work; the coordination in monitoring, managing and arranging cadres after training and fostering between the Provincial Political School and the Party Committee, the agency sending cadres to study, and the cadre management agency is sometimes not tight. The exchange of information to manage and grasp the teaching situation of lecturers and the learning of students between homeroom teachers and co-homeroom teachers in some classes is not regular and timely.

During the period of 2016 - 2020, the Provincial Political School coordinated with agencies and units to complete and exceed the targets and plans for training and fostering cadres, civil servants and public employees assigned by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee.
The school has coordinated and directly trained 311 classes with 22,306 students, including many new and specific training types, increasingly better meeting the training and fostering requirements of cadres, civil servants and public employees of the province, contributing to Party building, consolidating and perfecting the political system.
From the knowledge gained from the workshop, the Provincial Political School requires the staff and lecturers of the school to continue to research and apply the contents of Regulation No. 11 of the Secretariat on standard political schools to effectively implement specific solutions in building the criteria for standard political schools of Nghe An Provincial Political School in the coming time.At the same time, complete the contents to advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to issue a plan to train and foster cadres, civil servants and public employees to meet the requirements and tasks in each year and in each period.

At the same time, coordinate well between the Provincial Political School with the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and related units to open classes according to assigned functions and tasks, especially in enrollment and student management; link training and fostering work with the actual work of planning, managing and using cadres.
Other tasks related to investing in facilities, equipment for teaching and learning and building a team of staff and lecturers with sufficient quantity and quality have also been mentioned. These are important premises to gradually build the Provincial Political School to meet the requirements and tasks of a level 1 standard political school in the shortest time.
