Couple commits suicide after being caught cheating
Caught by her brother-in-law while "confiding" with her ex-lover, Ms. N. committed suicide by eating poison ivy. The man saw this and also committed suicide by eating poison ivy. The heartbreaking story happened in Tra Bong district, Quang Ngai.
On the morning of April 5, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Bac - Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra Bong district, Quang Ngai province - confirmed that a suicide case involving poison ivy had just occurred in the district, killing two people.

According to information, the victims were Mr. HVB (36 years old) and Ms. HTN (20 years old), both living in Tra Lam commune, Tra Bong district. Previously, the two had a romantic relationship but then broke up and both had their own families.
On March 31, while attending a wedding of a local resident, Mr. B. and Ms. N. accidentally met each other again. Their feelings rekindled, and the two went into the forest to "talk" when Ms. N.'s brother-in-law caught them and reported it to the family.
After the incident, Ms. N. felt ashamed, so on the morning of April 2, Ms. N. texted Mr. B. saying that she would eat poison ivy to commit suicide.
Mr. B. ran to the place Ms. N. said to stop her but it was too late. Heartbroken, Mr. B. took the remaining poison leaves from Ms. N.'s hand and ate them.
A while later, local people discovered the incident and saw that Mr. B. was still breathing, so they took him to Tra Bong Medical Center for emergency treatment, but Mr. B. died./.
