Mr. Thong's family is poor. His family has nothing but a lost motorbike.
Upon receiving the report, Nghi Loc District Police sent a working group to the scene to verify and collect information. Because the subject left no traces, the investigation was difficult.
However, through the process of capturing, monitoring the subject and using professional measures, the investigation agency of Nghi Loc District Police identified Vo Phan Phuc as the subject who committed the motorbike theft on the night of January 14 at Mr. Thong's house.
On June 25, the investigation agency made an emergency arrest of the subject. At the police station, Vo Phan Phuc confessed that he was addicted to drugs. Although he knew that Mr. Thong's family was very poor, because he was "hungry" for drugs, he still did not let him go.
After stealing the motorbike, Phuc sold it to a stranger in Cua Lo town for 1.5 million VND.
The case is being further investigated by the authorities.
