Vietnam women's team plays special time slot for the first time at World Cup 2023
The Vietnam women's team will have 3 matches at 3 different times at the 2023 World Cup.
Vietnam women's teamonly have about 1 week of training at VFF before leaving for New Zealand to attend the 2023 World Cup Finals. This is the first time the Vietnamese Women's Team has the opportunity to compete in the biggest tournament on the planet.
In this tournament, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team will compete at a very special time. Specifically, according to the schedule of the organizing committee, the Vietnam Women's Team will play their opening match against the US Women's Team at 8:00 a.m. on July 22. It is rare for Vietnamese fans to watch the Vietnamese Team at this time.

In the second match, the Vietnam Women's Team will meet Portugal at 2:30 p.m. on July 27. The final match of the group stage, the Vietnam Women's Team will compete with the Netherlands at 2:00 p.m. on August 1.
On June 28, the Vietnamese team began a knowledge session to prepare for the tournament. The whole team will practice at VFF before leaving for New Zealand on July 5.
In New Zealand, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team will have a friendly match against New Zealand at 12:30 (Vietnam time) on July 10 at McLean Park. Five days later, the Vietnamese women's team will face the Spanish women's team.
