Receiving and burying martyrs' remains in Thanh Chuong motherland
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 6, Thanh Chuong district and his family organized to receive and bury the remains of martyr Chu Van Hung from Chau Phu district cemetery, An Giang province to Thanh Chuong district martyr cemetery.

Attending the ceremony were leaders of the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province.
Martyr Chu Van Hung, born in 1953, hometown in Hoa Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, residing in Thanh Chuong town, Thanh Chuong district.
In March 1975, following the sacred call of the Fatherland, he volunteered to join the army and fight against American imperialism.

He heroically sacrificed his life on March 17, 1978, on the Southwest battlefield. After his death, martyr Chu Van Hung was given a proper burial by his comrades, teammates, and local people at Chau Phu District Cemetery, An Giang Province.
The ceremony to receive and bury the remains of martyr Chu Van Hung was held solemnly and respectfully in the gratitude of the family, Party committees, authorities at all levels and local people for the great contributions and heroic sacrifice of martyr Chu Van Hung in the cause of fighting to protect the Fatherland./.
