The Catholic community of Nghe An Province currently has 50,840 households, nearly 270,000 people living in 12 dioceses, 94 parishes and 360 sub-dioceses, accounting for over 8% of the province's population.

The security, order and social safety situation in the Catholic community last year was basically stable. The people complied well with the Party's policies, the State's laws and local regulations. The total amount of money that Catholic communities in districts, cities and towns donated to support charitable and humanitarian work during the year reached 2.5 billion VND.
