Nghe An Provincial Party Secretary works with Hunan Provincial People's Congress Secretary and Chairman (China)

(Baonghean.vn) - During the trip accompanying National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung on an official friendship visit to the People's Republic of China from December 23 to 27, on the afternoon of December 25, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Ho Duc Phoc had a meeting with Secretary and Chairman of the Hunan Provincial People's Congress Tu Thu Thinh to discuss and exchange views on cooperation directions between the two provinces in the coming time.

At the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Hunan Provincial People's Congress Xu Shousheng and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Council Ho Duc Phoc informed each other about the socio-economic development situation, as well as provided information on the potentials and strengths of each side; at the same time, reviewed the results of cooperation between the two provinces since 2011.

Expressing his joy at visiting Hunan province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Duc Phoc congratulated the achievements that Hunan province has achieved in recent times; considering this a great source of encouragement for Nghe An province to strive and follow in the coming time.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Duc Phoc emphasized that Nghe An and Hunan provinces are proud to be the homeland of two great leaders of the two nations, President Ho Chi Minh and Chairman Mao Zedong. Following the tradition of our predecessors, we have the responsibility to build Nghe An and Hunan provinces into model provinces, and to build the cooperative relationship between Nghe An and Hunan provinces into a bright spot in the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China.

Provincial Party Secretary Ho Duc Phoc also suggested that in the coming time, the two sides should further promote cooperation in economics, investment, education, culture, etc., especially in areas where both sides have strengths; further strengthen cooperation between enterprises, contributing significantly to fostering friendship and improving the effectiveness of comprehensive strategic partnership between the people of Vietnam and China.

Agreeing with the opinion of Provincial Party Secretary Ho Duc Phoc, Hunan Provincial Party Secretary also said that in the coming time, the investment cooperation relationship between the two provinces needs to be developed more deeply and strongly to promote the potential strengths of each side; businesses of the two provinces also need to regularly exchange, learn from each other, share experiences, and realize the cooperation contents that the two sides signed in 2001.

On this occasion, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Duc Phoc invited leaders of Hunan province to visit and work in Nghe An, and at the same time called on Hunan enterprises to invest in Nghe An. Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tu Thu Thinh agreed to organize a delegation of provincial leaders to visit Nghe An in 2016.
