Comrade Ho Duc Phoc was elected State Auditor General.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 5, comrade Ho Duc Phoc, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Nghe An province was elected by the National Assembly to hold the position of State Auditor General.
National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan read a proposal introducing Mr. Ho Duc Phoc as the only candidate nominated to replace Mr. Nguyen Huu Van, who was dismissed from office last weekend.

Comrade Ho Duc Phoc was elected with 84.41% of the votes.
Comrade Ho Duc Phoc (53 years old, from Nghe An) has a PhD in Economics and is a member of the Party Central Committee.
Before being elected as Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Nghe An province, Mr. Ho Duc Phoc held the positions of Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province and Chairman of the People's Committee of Cua Lo town.
