Comrade Ho Duc Phoc works with the Standing Committee of Quy Hop District Party Committee

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 31, the working delegation led by comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council had a working session with the Standing Committee of the Quy Hop District Party Committee on the socio-economic situation, national defense - security, party building, political system building, and at the same time, removing current difficulties and obstacles of the district.

Also attending the working session on behalf of the provincial leaders were comrade Le Quang Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Huu Lam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Dinh Viet Hong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors. At the meeting, the District Party Committee leaders reported to the working delegation on the socio-economic development, national defense and security, party building, and political system building in 2015, and key tasks in 2016. Accordingly, the growth rate of Quy Hop in 2015 reached 8.91%; the economic structure shifted effectively towards industry, handicrafts, basic construction, agriculture and trade services; average income per capita reached nearly 28 million VND/person/year, an increase of 13.7% compared to 2014.

Besides, the cultural and social fields have developed evenly, with quality and focus; national defense - security, party building, government building, and the mass front have received attention and are in the right direction.

Quy Hop district has set targets to strive for in 2016: economic growth rate increases by 10.02%; budget revenue strives to reach 117,500 billion VND; poverty rate decreases by 3-4%; number of schools meeting national standards is 50, creating jobs for 1,500 people and admitting 260 new party members.

Comrade Phan Dinh Dat - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council reported on the socio-economic, defense and security situation of Quy Hop.

Comrade Nguyen Huu Lam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee suggested that the District Party Committee should pay more attention to party building work, especially party building work in private enterprises in the area.

Comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that the district continue to replicate and develop economic models, especially farm and family economy to increase income and reduce poverty for farmers.

Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Secretary of the District Party Committee proposed that the province regulate a part of the money for granting mineral exploitation rights and mineral exploitation auctions to the communes and districts where minerals are licensed according to Decree 203/2013/ND-CP.

Concluding the working session, comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council highly appreciated Quy Hop's continued effective implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2015-2020 term, the 5-year socio-economic development plan for 2016-2020. In particular, the district has well implemented key programs and projects according to Program 24 of the Provincial Party Committee on implementing Resolution 26 of the Politburo, enhancing the application of science and technology to improve crop productivity and industrial value...

In addition, he reminded the district to focus on doing well the work of forest development, natural resources and mineral management; improve the quality of comprehensive education, pay attention to disadvantaged areas and ethnic minority areas; do well the work of poverty reduction, create new jobs; well implement Directive 17 of the Provincial Party Committee on strengthening discipline and administrative discipline in agencies and units; strengthen measures to protect security and order in the area before, during and after the Lunar New Year; take care to implement well the social security policy, help the poor, policy families, lonely elderly people without support, ensuring everyone has a happy and warm New Year.

Provincial Party Secretary Ho Duc Phoc also reminded Quy Hop district about the preparation for the election of National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels. The district needs to focus on improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations; improving the quality of Party cell activities, building a clean and strong Party organization as well as paying attention to training and improving the political qualifications of the leadership team in the political system.

He emphasized that in the work of party building, the Quy Hop District Party Committee needs to innovate its leadership methods in a drastic, practical and effective direction, promoting the spirit of collaboration and high solidarity, creating a premise for the District Party Committee to improve its leadership capacity to effectively implement the goals and resolutions set forth by the Quy Hop District Party Congress.
