Comrade Ho Phuc Hop: Must ensure absolute security for the election

(Baonghean.vn) - On May 20, comrade Ho Phuc Hop - Member of the Standing Committee - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department inspected election preparations in Dien Hanh and Dien Hong communes, Dien Chau district and Hop Thanh - Yen Thanh.

At the inspection points, the working delegation acknowledged the careful preparation of the Party committees and authorities at all levels.

On major roads and central areas, billboards, posters, slogans, flags, and national flags are brightly decorated; facilities serving the election such as voter cards, ballot boxes, tables and chairs for people coming to vote have been fully prepared; the list of candidates and voters is publicly posted at the polling stations.

In Dien Chau, 39 communes and towns have followed the correct steps and procedures in the election. After 3 rounds of consultation, a list of 70 candidates for the district People's Council and 1,730 candidates for the commune People's Council was established. The preparation of facilities for the election at 315 polling stations has also been basically completed.

Comrade Ho Phuc Hop - Member of the Standing Committee - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department inspected the preparation work in Hop Thanh commune - Yen Thanh.

In Yen Thanh, 339 polling stations of 13 constituencies are also ready for the election. Communes with a large number of Catholics and election committees at all levels have also come up with the best plan for the election to take place safely, smoothly, and with a high turnout rate.

At the checkpoints, comrade Ho Phuc Hop acknowledged and highly appreciated the election preparation work and requested authorities at all levels to continue propaganda work, especially in special areas, so that people can fully understand and participate in the election at the highest rate. Maintain political security, social order and safety, ensuring the election day takes place successfully.
