Comrade Le Xuan Dai congratulated medical units in Quynh Luu
(Baonghean.vn) - A working delegation led by Mr. Le Xuan Dai, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited and congratulated Quynh Luu District General Hospital and a number of medical units in the locality on the occasion of Vietnamese Doctors' Day.

At Quynh Luu District General Hospital, comrade Le Xuan Dai highly appreciated the results achieved in 2017 by the medical staff. Quynh Luu General Hospital was recognized as a grade II district-level general hospital with 280 beds.
The hospital currently has 279 staff members with 53 doctors, including 2 level 2 specialists and 20 level 1 specialists. More than 120 staff members have college degrees, bachelor's degrees in nursing, midwifery, etc.
According to the leader of Quynh Luu General Hospital, in recent years the hospital has basically met the needs of medical examination, treatment and health care for nearly 300,000 people with more than 200,000 health insurance cards of 33 communes and 1 town.

Meanwhile, at the Quynh Luu District Medical Center, the delegation listened to the unit's leaders report on the operation situation as well as raise some difficulties and problems. Comrade Le Xuan Dai asked the leaders of the Department of Health to accept the recommendations for consideration and resolution.
The delegation also visited and congratulated the medical staff of Quynh Thanh Commune Health Station. This is a commune where 100% of households are Catholics, and people's lives still face many difficulties. Currently, this Health Station has 5 staff, including 1 general practitioner, 2 physicians, 1 nurse and 1 midwife to serve the needs of more than 13,000 people in the commune.
At the medical units, after sending his congratulations, comrade Le Xuan Dai asked the medical staff to continue promoting the achieved results, constantly studying, and improving the quality of medical examination and treatment.
