After 20 years of construction and development, Pu Mat National Park has done a good job of managing and protecting 94,715 hectares of forest and forest land in the three districts of Anh Son, Con Cuong, and Tuong Duong, achieving the highest forest coverage in the country of 80%, conducting scientific research and conserving rare and endemic species of flora and fauna such as saola, white-cheeked gibbon, tiger, elephant, saola, bears, gaurs, birds, etc.

In addition, Pu Mat National Park also organizes promotional activities, exploits and invests in tourism infrastructure and services to attract domestic and foreign tourists to visit and relax.

In addition to visiting Pu Mat National Park, comrade Nguyen Sinh Hung and the delegation directly surveyed famous landscapes, historical relics with potential for tourism exploitation and development in Con Cuong district such as Pha Lai dam on Giang river, Khe Kem waterfall, and Ma Nhai stele.

He highly appreciated the efforts of the units in forest protection, scientific research, conservation of ecosystems, rare flora and fauna, and hoped that in the coming time, the units would coordinate in developing community tourism, discovery tourism, and building a system of accompanying services to attract tourists to visit and relax.
