Comrade Nguyen Xuan Phuc laid a wreath at the President Ho Chi Minh Monument in the capital Havana.
According to the Vietnam News Agency Special Envoy, on the occasion of his official friendship visit to the Republic of Cuba, on the morning of September 19, local time, in the capital of Havana, the Republic of Cuba, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and the Vietnamese high-ranking delegation visited and laid wreaths at the Ho Chi Minh Monument, in the grounds of Hoa Binh Park.

The wreath of the delegation bore the inscription: The great thoughts and career of President Ho Chi Minh live forever. Also attending the incense offering ceremony were Politburo member, Vice President of Cuba Salvador Valdés Mesa and members of the High-ranking Delegation of the Party and State of Vietnam.
In memory of the great President Ho Chi Minh and his immense contributions, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc expressed his emotion and pride in visiting the President Ho Chi Minh Monument, a symbol of friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Cuba in the capital city of Havana. The Ho Chi Minh Monument in the Peace Park, Havana was inaugurated on May 19, 2003, on the occasion of the 113th anniversary of his birthday. The monument was designed by Architect Joel Diaz, Vice President of the Cuba-Vietnam Friendship Association.
Writing in the guestbook at the Memorial, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc emphasized: “Loyal to his ideals and teachings, we affirm the determination of the entire Party, people and army of Vietnam to unite and strive to build a peaceful, unified, independent, democratic and prosperous Vietnam, contributing worthily to the world revolutionary cause, and constantly nurturing the special traditional friendship between Vietnam and Cuba.”
On this occasion, the President also thanked the government and people of the capital Havana, Nuevovedado District and Acapulco neighborhood for always paying special attention and taking good care of the President Ho Chi Minh monument.
