In Ky Son, the Provincial Party Committee delegation inspected disease prevention and control work at the Nam Can International Border Gate Border Guard Station.

In fact, the Nam Can International Border Guard Station has established 5 checkpoints at the trails along the border under its management; organized body temperature checks for people crossing the border, and coordinated with specialized agencies to receive and bring Vietnamese workers from Thailand and Laos to centralized quarantine areas.

On this occasion, on behalf of the working delegation, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son presented gifts to the Border Guard Station of Nam Can International Border Gate and the force on duty at this international border gate.

Next, the delegation visited and inspected the epidemic prevention work in the quarantine area at Ky Son Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities - Secondary School. This is a quarantine area managed by the Provincial Military Command. Currently, the quarantine area has received and organized quarantine for 288 people, mostly local people. In addition to the number of people quarantined at the Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities - Secondary School, Ky Son district is organizing quarantine and monitoring for 7 other citizens at Nam Can Commune Health Station and the District Health Center.

Currently, the quarantine area at Ky Son Ethnic Boarding School - Secondary School has received nearly 288 citizens. In addition, Ky Son district is organizing quarantine and monitoring 7 other citizens at Nam Can Commune Health Station and the District Health Center.

The delegation presented a number of gifts to encourage officers, soldiers and forces on duty to protect and care for citizens in the quarantine area.

Working with the Standing Committee of Ky Son District Party Committee, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son praised the high sense of responsibility of the local Party Committee and authorities. Immediately after receiving instructions from the Central and the province, the district leaders and local authorities have deployed many measures in disease prevention and control, in which, the district has established 2 concentrated areas at Chieu Luu Commune Health Station and the District Health Center with over 40 hospital beds and necessary equipment.

Working with the leaders of Ky Son district, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son praised the high sense of responsibility of the local Party Committee and government.

Up to this point, the border district of Ky Son has not recorded any cases of infection, but the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Son also requested that Ky Son district not be subjective and need to implement epidemic prevention and control according to the "4 on-site" motto. In particular, the district needs to arrange funding to support grassroots health agencies to better implement Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control work.

Along with actively preventing and fighting the epidemic, specialized forces and agencies also need to protect their own health, which is also a necessary epidemic prevention and control measure - Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son noted.
