Raid on 4-story house packaging drugs, seized 16 heroin cakes

Moc Chau District Police coordinated with Van Ho District Police, PC47 Department of Son La Provincial Police, Department 3 - C47 of the Ministry of Public Security to successfully break the case, catching 2 subjects red-handed storing a large amount of drugs at home.

At 11:20 p.m. on July 5, authorities raided Thanh's four-story house in Sub-area 14, Moc Chau town, catching Ha Van Thanh and Tran Huu Thu red-handed packing heroin and synthetic drugs into a wooden table for sale.

Upon discovering the police, the two suspects ran upstairs to fight back fiercely, then climbed onto the roof to destroy the drugs and escape. However, both were later subdued by the detectives.

The arrested subjects are Ha Van Thanh, 37 years old, residing in Hong Hua village, Long Sap commune, Moc Chau district and Tran Huu Thu, 41 years old, residing in Muong Sang commune, Moc Chau district.

The evidence seized by the authorities included 15 heroin cakes, 3kg of crystal meth; and 6,000 MTTH pills.

During an urgent search of Ha Van Thanh's residence in sub-zone 14, Moc Chau town, the authorities discovered and seized 1 more heroin cake, 1,000 MTTH pills, 170 million VND and some other related evidence.

The case is currently under investigation.
