The coastal road project passing through 5 districts and towns of Nghe An is committed to disbursing all funds in 2022.
(Baonghean.vn) - The coastal road project from Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa) - Cua Lo (Nghe An) from Km7-Km76 was approved by the People's Committee of Nghe An province in Decision No. 2925/QD-UBND dated August 13, 2021. The project is committed to disbursing 100% of capital in 2022.
Strive to achieve disbursement progress
The coastal road project passes through 5 localities including Hoang Mai town, Quynh Luu district, Dien Chau district, Nghi Loc district and Cua Lo town with the scale of level III plain road, roadbed 12m, total length 64.47 km, with 8 bridges crossing. Of which there are 5 large bridges and 3 small bridges), 5 large bridges include: Hoang Mai bridge, Lach Quen bridge: 15 spans, Cua Thoi bridge 20 spans, Lach Van bridge 17 spans, Nghi Quang bridge.
The total investment of the project is 4,651 billion VND (of which: Construction and installation 3,202 billion VND, site clearance 933.6 billion VND; contingency and other expenses 515.4 billion VND).
The current capital has been allocated 1,653,142 billion VND, of which: 2021: 483,142 billion VND (Construction 450 billion VND; site: 24,318 billion VND; Other expenses: 8,824 billion VND); 2022: Total 1,170 billion VND (1,000 billion VND supported by the central government; 170 billion VND by the local government). Disbursement to date: reached 427,401 billion VND.
In the first quarter of 2022, capital disbursement was 394,259 billion VND, reaching 33.69%.
Mr. Hoang Phu Hien - Director of the Department of Transport said: The disbursement plan for 2022 will reach 100% of the allocated capital. Specifically: Quarter I: Capital allocation of 389.30 billion VND, cumulative disbursement reaching 26.8%; Quarter II: 632.18 billion VND, cumulative disbursement reaching 70.4%; Quarter III: 183.66 billion VND, cumulative disbursement reaching 83.1%; Quarter IV: 244.87 billion VND, cumulative disbursement reaching 100%.

Mobilize additional vehicles to ensure progress
The coastal road project from Km7-Km76 (commonly known as phase 2) is divided into 2 bid packages.
Construction Package 1 constructs the project from Km7+00 - Km48+250 and the Tan Long, Nha Le Canal, Hoang Mai, Lach Quen, Cua Thoi bridges, with 7 contractors: 3 main contractors (Central Construction Group Joint Stock Company, Hoang Long Construction & Trading Joint Stock Company, Trung Nam Construction and Installation Joint Stock Company). 4 subcontractors (Trung Nam 18 E&C Construction Joint Stock Company, 134 Vietnam Joint Stock Company, Hoa Hiep Company Limited, Truong Son Construction Corporation).
Currently, the contractor is implementing 12 construction projects including: Kenh Nha Le Bridge (2 projects), Hoang Mai Bridge (2 projects), Lach Quen Bridge (2 projects), Cua Thoi Bridge (3 projects) and 3 project sites for roadbed construction.
Nha Le Canal Bridge is constructed by 134 Vietnam Joint Stock Company. After having the site from pier T2 to pier M2, the contractor has arranged 1 self-propelled drilling machine, 1 cable drilling machine, 1 excavator, 3 cars to the construction site to ensure progress. This bridge has a total of 39 bored piles, 2 of which have been completed. For Hoang Mai Bridge constructed by Hoa Hiep Company Limited and Truong Son Construction Corporation, the unit has arranged 1 self-propelled drilling machine, 1 crane, 1 excavator, 3 cars. The completed volume is 4/total 48 piles. Truong Son Construction Corporation (Constructing from pier T7 to pier M2), the volume is currently preparing for bored pile construction (43 piles).

Mr. Pham Dinh Hanh - General Director of Hoa Hiep LLC said: The unit is constructing Hoang Mai bridge Km11+167. In April 2022, the company will add 1 bored pile construction point, the additional equipment is 1 bored pile drilling line. Truong Son Construction Corporation also said that it will add 2 bored pile construction points. The units committed to deploying the construction of the girder casting yard, ensuring girder casting before April 30, 2022.
At Lach Quen Bridge (Trung Nam 18 E&C Construction Joint Stock Company), the unit arranged 2 self-propelled drilling machines, 02 cranes, 01 barge, 01 excavator, 03 cars, completing 12 piles. At Cua Thoi Bridge: (Trung Nam Construction Installation Joint Stock Company) with 117 bored piles, 7 piles have been completed.

The construction of the first package is being carried out by the Central Construction Group Corporation and Hoang Long Construction and Trading Corporation. Currently, there are 3 construction teams and 2 component casting teams. The unit has mobilized 5 excavators, 1 bulldozer, 4 vibrating rollers, 6 cars and hundreds of workers to complete the progress soon.
For construction package 2: Construction of works from Km48+250 - Km76+00 and the bridges of Lach Van, Nghi Quang, Nghi Tan. This package is constructed by Tan Nam Construction Joint Stock Company from Km48+250 - Km50+00; Km52+400 - Km76+00 and the bridges of Lach Van, Nghi Quang, Nghi Tan, the unit is implementing 15 construction teams.
With urgent progress, the Department of Transport said the route is expected to be completed in 24 months and completed in February 2024.
Regarding bridges, major bridges, including Hoang Mai Bridge, Lach Quen Bridge, Cua Thoi Bridge, Lach Van Bridge and Nghi Quang Bridge, are expected to take 18 months to complete in August 2023.
The Nha Le Canal and Nghi Tan bridges are expected to take 12 months to complete in February 2023. Tan Long small bridge: Expected to take 6 months to complete in January 2023.

Coastal road project from Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa) to Cua Lo (Nghe An) section from Km7 - Km76. Total route length is 64.47 km, of which site clearance is 59.9 km (due to 4.56 km overlapping D4 and QL46) passing through Hoang Mai town, Quynh Luu district, Dien Chau district, Nghi Loc district and Cua Lo town.
Total number of affected plots: 4,153 plots. Section through agricultural land: 44.03 km (73%); Section through residential land: 6.3 km (11%); Section through forestry land: 7.45 km (12%); Section through educational, production and business, and religious land: 2.13 km (4%).
+ Hoang Mai town: Passing through 6 wards and communes (Quynh Lap, Quynh Loc, Quynh Di, Quynh Phuong, Mai Hung, Quynh Lien) with a length of 9.42 km (of which agricultural land is 7.21 km; residential land, garden land is 1.17 km; forestry land is 0.94 km and educational, production and business land, religion is 0.1 km).
+ Quynh Luu District:Passing through 9 communes (Bang, Luong, Minh, Nghia, Tien Thuy, Quynh Thuan, Son Hai, Quynh Tho) with a length of 16.17 km (of which agricultural land is 12.06 km; residential land, garden land is 3.05 km; forestry land is 0.56 km; educational land, production and business, religion is 0.5 km).
+ Dien Chau District: Passing through 6 communes (Hung, Hai, Kim, Thanh, Thinh, Trung), 24.44 km long (of which agricultural land is 18.64 km; residential land, garden 0.32 km; forestry land 4.11 km and land for education, production, business, religion 1.37 km).
+ Nghi Loc district (Nghi Yen, Nghi Tien, Nghi Quang, Khanh Hop) passes through 4 communes, 9.66km long (of which agricultural land is 5.96km; residential land, garden 1.7km; forestry land 1.84km and educational, production and business, religious land 0.16km).
+ Cua Lo town: Passing through 1 ward (Nghi Tan) 0.22 km long (of which residential land, garden 0.06 km and agricultural land 0.16 km).
The first phase of the coastal road in Nghe An, passing through Nghi Loc district and Cua Lo town, is currently under construction and has been basically completed. In Cua Lo, there are only 3 households stuck, and it is expected to be completed by the end of the second quarter of 2022.
