Storm No. 2 is forecast to make landfall from Ninh Binh to Nghe An, continuing to cause heavy rain.

News from the North Central Hydrometeorological Station, at 10:00 a.m. on August 2, the storm center is located at about 19.4 degrees North latitude; 106.1 degrees East longitude, right on the coastal waters of the provinces from Thai Binh to Nghe An. The strongest wind near the storm center is level 8 (60-75km/hour),jerky10. Radius of strong wind level 6,level 8 jerkup to about 130km from the center of the storm.

Forecast for the next 12 hours,The storm moved in the West Northwest direction, traveling about 15km per hour, entering the mainland provinces from Ninh Binh to Nghe An and gradually weakened into a tropical depression, then a low pressure area. At 10:00 p.m. on August 2, the center of the low pressure area was located atabout 20.0 degrees North latitude; 104.5 degrees East longitude, on the Vietnam-Laos border area. The strongest wind near the center of the low pressure area decreased to below level 6 (below 40km/h).

In the next 12-24 hours,Low pressure moves in the West Northwest direction, about 15km per hour, goes deep inland, weakens and gradually dissipates.

Dangerous areas at sea in the next 24 hours (strong winds from level 6 or higher, gusts from level 8 or higher): North of latitude 17.0 degrees North; West of longitude 110.0 degrees East.

Disaster risk level: level 3.

All vessels operating in the central and southern East Sea (including the waters of the Truong Sa archipelago) are at high risk of being affected by gusts of wind and tornadoes. On land, the provinces of the North, North Central and Central Central regions are at high risk of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
