Unlike previous congresses, at the 2019-2024 Congress, the Organizing Committee applied information technology to provide documents to delegates. Instead of printing, distributing and reading paper documents, 250 official delegates scanned QR codes.
With just a smartphone and a QR code scan, each delegate will receive a set of congress documents including: the official congress program, political report, list of delegates attending, delegate handbook...
By scanning QR codes, the congress saved costs and time in printing and distributing documents; at the same time, it promoted the youth members to quickly update technology applications.

Previously, in the first session of the Congress, many delegates were also surprised when the organizing committee took attendance using pre-printed barcodes on delegate cards.
Mr. Chu Duc Thai - Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Nghe An province said: "This is the first time the Association has implemented QR code scanning to exploit documents, grasp the trend of the 4.0 revolution, and gradually change habits in accessing new technology. This method has received many positive effects from delegates".
Previously, printing a set of documents costing about 50,000 VND to distribute to hundreds of delegates was very expensive, but now scanning this QR code has saved printing costs. This amount can be shared with the Association's social security activities.
