It is noted that at Quynh Nghia beach (Quynh Luu), during the 2 days from September 1 to 2, there were many tourists coming to visit, swim and enjoy seafood.
Mr. To Duy Hien - Chairman of Quynh Nghia Commune People's Committee said: The occasion of September 2nd coincides with the occasion when the commune organizes the Ceremony to receive the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces, so the children of the homeland who are working and living all over the country come to attend the ceremony in large numbers, causing the number of tourists visiting the local beach to increase about 3 times compared to normal days. Currently, services at Quynh Nghia beach are invested, some restaurants are built according to standards; seafood prices are publicly listed.

The high number of returning visitors has caused dozens of restaurants at Quynh Nghia beach to operate at full capacity.
According to Mr. Ho Van Nam - owner of a restaurant in Quynh Nghia beach, during the September 2nd holiday, there were about more than 100 customers visiting the restaurant every day to rest and eat.
To meet the needs of customers, we have prepared tanks with full range of seafood products. Currently, the price of fresh seafood has increased compared to normal days by about 50,000 - 70,000 VND/kg, such as mantis shrimp at 250,000 VND/kg; grade 1 crab at 450 - 470,000 VND/kg, grade 1 squid at 350,000 VND/kg; while frozen products remain at the same price.

Similarly, Dien Thanh beach (Dien Chau) also "attracts" visitors during the holiday. Mr. Luan - a fresh seafood catering service business at Dien Thanh beach (Dien Chau) said: During the 2-day holiday on September 2, the number of visitors to the beach increased by 50 - 60% compared to normal days, causing a strong consumption of fresh seafood. However, visitors only concentrate from late afternoon to late night.
Accordingly, the demand for seafood products has also increased sharply. In particular, the supply of crab and crab seafood products cannot meet the demand due to the large consumption during the two days off while fishermen are on holiday and rarely go to sea.

Lach Van fishing port, Dien Ngoc commune (Dien Chau) on the afternoon of September 2, unlike usual bustling days, crowded with people buying and selling seafood, today there are only occasional ships returning to the port.
Mr. Ngo Xuan Thuy - Head of Lach Van Fishing Port said: Today, there are only 10 pairs of fishing boats going to sea to exploit seafood, because fishermen are off to celebrate Independence Day on September 2, so the amount of seafood caught today is very small (about 1.5 tons of all kinds). On normal days, there are about 60 - 100 pairs of fishing boats of Dien Chau fishermen going to sea to catch seafood.
