(Baonghean.vn) - This year's April 30 and May 1 holidays lasted for many days in hot weather. Instead of choosing far-away beaches, many people flocked to streams in the highlands of Nghe An to both rest and enjoy the cool, fresh air.

During the holidays of April 30 and May 1, the temperature continued to be above 35 degrees Celsius. To avoid the heat, thousands of people from all over the country went to streams and waterfalls in the highlands of Nghe An such as Anh Son, Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Ky Son, Que Phong... to rest. Ms. Kha Thi Tim - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Con Cuong district said: In just 2 days of the holiday (April 27-28), Khe Kem waterfall welcomed 3,000 visitors to visit and cool off.

According to our records, on April 28 at Cay Sung beach in Cao Veu village (Phuc Son commune, Anh Son district), early in the morning, hundreds of people gathered here to cool off. This is a place with shade, shallow and clear water, so it attracts many tourists.
The water is shallow so children can freely try all the sensations in the stream such as swinging, swimming, diving...
In some other spots where the water is deeper, many people even use homemade buoys to ensure safety.
Many parents even equip their children with life jackets so they can experience the stream.
Enjoy splashing in the cool water to beat the heat.
A young man sought thrills by jumping off a cliff into the water.
This is often a tourist destination for families. On this occasion, they want to record beautiful moments of their holiday at the stream.
Most visitors when coming here will enjoy traditional dishes of the indigenous people such as grilled fish, bamboo rice, rice wine...
