Leaders of the European Union (EU) and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) have unanimously condemned the above barbaric bombing.
In a statement, EU President Herman Rompuy expressed his deep sorrow for the deaths of innocent people and the tragic consequences.

Từ Nga, nước chủ nhà của Thế vận hội Olympic mùa Đông 2014, Bộ trưởng Thể thao Vitaly Mutko cho rằng vụ đánh bom liên hoàn tại Boston là một lời cảnh báo thực sự đối với Nga, và nước này sẽ phải đặc biệt quan tâm tới vấn đề an ninh cho các giải thể thao sắp tới.
Trước đó, Tổng thống Nga Vladimia Putin cũng gửi lời chia buồn đến Tổng thống MỹBarack Obama, và lên án tội ác dã man nói trên.
Trung Quốc, Đức, Pháp, Iran, Afghanistan, Singapore, Thổ Nhĩ Kỳ... cùng ngày cũng đã đồng loạt lên án vụ đánh bom trên, và bày tỏ tình đoàn kết với nhân dân Mỹ.
Theo phóng viên TTXVN tại New Delhi, tuyên bố của Bộ Ngoại giao Ấn Độ ra chiều 16/4 cho biết Tổng thống Pranab Mukherjee và Thủ tướng Manmohan Singh đã cực lực lên án các vụ đánh bom tại Boston, đồng thời cam kết sẽ nỗ lực đánh bại chủnghĩa khủng bố.
Trong bức điện gửi Tổng thống Barack Obama, ông Singh đã bày tỏ tình đoàn kết với Mỹ và nêu bật mối nguy hiểm đang rập rình từ chủ nghĩa khủng bố đối với cảhai nước.
Prime Minister Singh also expressed solidarity and sympathy with the American people, as well as the families of the victims and those injured in the bombing. Mr. Singh pledged to support the US in the investigation of the terrorist attack.

According to a VNA reporter in Italy, the US Embassy, consulates and many other US agencies and organizations in Italy have increased security following the bombing.
Fiumicino International Airport in Rome has implemented strict security checks, focusing especially on flights considered "risky or sensitive," such as those operated by US and Israeli airlines.
In addition, organizers of the America's Cup World Series sailing race in Naples, Italy said they are also increasing security for the event, held from April 16-21./.
