(Baonghean.vn) - Book and Reading Culture Day is an occasion to honor books and foster a reading culture among students and schools.

Nhận thức tầm quan trọng của văn hóa đọc, ngày 24/2/2014, Thủ tướng Chính Phủ đã ký Quyết định số 284/QĐ-TTg lấy ngày 21/4 hàng năm là Ngày Sách Việt Nam nhằm khuyến khích và phát triển phong trào đọc sách trong cộng đồng, nâng cao nhận thức của nhân dân về ý nghĩa to lớn và tầm quan trọng của việc đọc sách đối với việc phát triển kiến thức, kỹ năng và phát triển tư duy, giáo dục và rèn luyện nhân cách con người.

Recognizing the importance of reading culture, on February 24, 2014, the Prime Minister signed Decision No. 284/QD-TTg to designate April 21 every year as Vietnam Book Day to encourage and develop the reading movement in the community, raise people's awareness of the great significance and importance of reading for the development of knowledge, skills and thinking, education and training of human personality. Bằng hình thức lồng ghép các hoạt động phong phú, thiết thực gồm: trưng bày sách, giới thiệu các thể loại sách, thi đọc sách, thi kể chuyện...phù hợp với lứa tuổi tiểu học đã thực sự tạo nên một bầu không khí vui tươi hào hứng của ngày hội đọc sách góp phần khơi dậy niềm đam mê yêu thích đọc sách, ham học hỏi của các em học sinh.
