The first Vietnamese team completed the qualifying round of the Tank Biathlon (in Russia) on August 5, topping the group with Cuba. Tank Biathlon is one of the main competitions of the 2019 Army Games organized by Russia from August 3-17. This year, the Vietnam People's Army sent 8 teams to compete in 8 events within the framework of the 2019 Army Games, including tank racing, field kitchen, engineering vehicle crew, rescue unit, art performance competition, chemical reconnaissance vehicle crew, medical support and sniper.
