Speaking about the ability to bypass the security system of the F-35 fighter jet, General David Goldfein, Chief of Staff of the US Air Force, hinted that if countries like Russia or China detect the aircraft, it will be too late for them.

According to Business Insider, in response to this statement, the Russian Embassy in the United States posted a tweet, advising the US to remember Vietnam, and declaring "F-35 will not fly alone".

Russian Embassy in the United States: "If at any time Russia… detects F-35s in its airspace, we will be happy to send a few messages to the Chief of Staff of the US Air Force David Goldfein: "Remember Vietnam." The F-35 will never fly alone."

According to the news site, the "mysterious message" would be accompanied by a "Vietnam War propaganda video" in which Soviet missiles shot down fighter planes. Frames of the video would play over a song, saying the enemy "will not take the sky of Vietnam, will not take the sun of Vietnam." Business Insider recalled that the United States lost 1,737 aircraft in the airspace of Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.
