(Baonghean.vn) - When seeing signs of labor, Ms. Mau was instructed by a male passenger to call her doctor friend to help her deliver the baby.
On April 25, Ms. Lang Thi Mau (born in 1992), residing in Ban Ke Gia, Thach Ngan commune, Con Cuong district, a worker in Binh Duong, returned to her hometown in Nghe An on train SE4. Ms. Mau is in her last month of pregnancy.
At 4 p.m. on April 26, when the train was about 30 kilometers from Hue Station, the woman showed signs of labor and abdominal pain. At that time, the train cabin was filled with only staff and male passengers, which made her very worried. At that time, a male passenger in the same compartment had a friend who was an obstetrician, so he made a video call to help guide the delivery.
After 30 minutes of enthusiastic help from the male staff on the ship and guidance from the doctor over the phone, the woman successfully gave birth to a 3 kg baby boy.
