Nghe An Police Youth Union donated nearly 200 units of blood

(Baonghean.vn) - On June 5, the Provincial Police Youth Union coordinated with the Nghe An Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center to organize a voluntary blood donation event "Nghe An Police Youth share red blood - Drops of blood, treasure of humanity".

The blood donation event was attended by 300 members from the grassroots branches under the Provincial Police Youth Union and the Vinh City Police Youth Union and Nghi Loc District Police. This is one of the activities in the 2016 summer volunteer program launched by the Provincial Police Youth Union.

Senior Lieutenant Hoang Le Anh - Secretary of the Youth Union of Nghe An Provincial Police said: "In addition to donating blood to help patients, this is also an action that shows the beautiful image of a people's police officer who forgets himself for the country and serves the people."

The organizers collected nearly 200 units of blood to send to hospitals in Vinh city to serve the care and treatment of patients, especially poor patients.
