Earlier, experts noted that the air defense system would no longer allow the Israeli army to blatantly carry out operations and strike Syria as before.

However, the Israeli Air Force is equipped with fifth-generation F-35 fighters, which experts from the American newspaper believe "are capable of defeating the S-300 thanks to their "stealth" feature.

"One of the F-35's primary missions is to suppress and destroy advanced enemy air defenses. The F-35 will become an even more powerful weapon through Block 3 system upgrades and the installation of the Block 4 program," the article noted.

However, there is still no guarantee that these formidable fighters will not be shot down by the S-300, and Israel certainly would not dare to launch a direct attack on the air defense complexes, The National Interest commented.

On September 24, to enhance the safety of its troops in Syria, Russia brought S-300 air defense missile systems to the Arab Republic.

The decision was made after the Israeli Air Force attacked Syria, resulting in the downing of a Russian IL-20 aircraft with 15 soldiers on board. Moscow asserted that Tel Aviv was responsible for the incident.

However, Israel has said it will not stop air strikes on Syria, despite the new air defense systems.

On November 2, the media commented that there had been no Israeli Air Force attacks on Syrian territory since the S-300 complexes were delivered.
