FIFA investigates Mexican fans who provoked German goalkeeper
The International Football Federation (FIFA) announced on June 18 that it is investigating allegations that Mexican fans shouted homophobic slurs during the match between Mexico and Germany.

According to information received by FIFA, Mexican fans shouted homophobic slurs as German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer prepared to kick the ball in the 24th minute of the match (when the score was 0-0).
FIFA is currently collecting reports and relevant evidence. Among the reports received, FIFA has received comments from an anti-discrimination and discrimination observer who was present in the stands at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow when the match took place.

The Mexican Football Federation has also been fined many times for allegedly racist statements by its fans./.
