(Baonghean.vn)- At about 4:15 p.m. on September 2, on Le Nin Avenue in Nghi Phu Commune (Vinh City), a serious accident occurred between a Fortuner and a car.The 4-seater Mirage left several people injured.

Witnesses said that at the time, a red car with license plate 37A 2906, driven by a middle-aged man residing in Nghe An, with his wife inside, was traveling on Lenin Avenue from Vinh city center to Vinh airport.

When the car was in front of Nghi Phu gas station, from behind, a black Fortuner with license plate 38A 05097 driven by an unidentified person was determined to be driving at high speed and crashed straight into the back of car 37A 29061.

The strong collision caused the red car to completely lose control and veer to the left of the oncoming traffic, crashing head-on into the median strip of the two-way road, sending a trail of flowers and ornamental plants flying before the car ended up in the opposite lane. Meanwhile, car 38A05097 flipped over in the middle of the oncoming traffic lane.

Initial information said that some people in the Fortuner and the woman in the red car were injured and had to be hospitalized. The driver of the red car was not injured.

At the scene, the Fortuner car was lying upside down in the water, its front end crushed. On the opposite lane, the red car had its rear end crushed, lying somewhere on the median.

The accident attracted dozens of people and road users to watch. Traffic on this road was chaotic.
