The body of Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung (55 years old) was discovered at her home, the security camera was disabled.

According to the police, Hung is Mrs. Nhung's nephew, so he often visits the family and knows the family's routine.

Mrs. Nhung and her husband have 2 children who are both living in Hanoi. Her husband works for the Electricity Company so their economy is quite stable.

Therefore, Hung secretly stole the key to Mrs. Nhung's house to get in and out of the house easily.

With the intention of murdering the victim to rob her property, at noon on February 20, Hung rode his motorbike from his rented room in Hanoi to Bac Ninh, parked it at Bac Ninh Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital, then walked to the victim's house.

Hung used the key to break into Mrs. Nhung’s house. After entering the house, he locked the door and went to the empty bedroom (Mrs. Nhung’s child’s room) on the 3rd floor to wait for an opportunity.

Hung stayed in the house for a whole day and a night, but the victim and his wife did not know and continued their normal activities.

As for Hung, during the time he was in the victim's house, he carefully calculated how to kill the victim and rob her of her property.

At around 1pm on February 22, Hung took a pair of scissors from the shrine room, removed the pillowcase to cover the victim’s nose, and then entered Mrs. Nhung’s bedroom. Mrs. Nhung was sleeping at the time. He used a pillow to cover the victim’s mouth with the intention of suffocating her.

Seeing the victim struggling and calling for help, the subject took scissors and stabbed him many times.

Afraid of being discovered, Hung disabled the camera inside the house, removed the memory card of the camera outside and threw it away.

After erasing his tracks, Hung robbed some valuables and took the victim's motorbike to the Bac Ninh Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital to leave it there, took his motorbike back to Hanoi to sleep, then returned to Bac Ninh to watch the police investigate with the purpose of listening to the situation. However, those sophisticated tricks were discovered and arrested by the police.

It is known that Nguyen Thanh Hung is not married, has graduated from university, and is currently an architect in Hanoi, but because of partying and showing off, he needed money and committed a crime.

Bac Ninh City Police (Bac Ninh Province) has just announced that the unit has arrested a suspect who murdered a woman at her private home in Vo Cuong Ward while the subject was attending the victim's funeral.
