Currently, the district's sugarcane fields are entering the harvest season of the 2016-2017 crop, with an estimated net profit of 50 million VND/ha.

Localities are proactively coordinating to harvest sugarcane, at the same time, implementing investment policies on seeds, fertilizers, and techniques for care and pest control for the new crop. In the 2017-2018 crop year, Anh Son district is striving to plant 1,500 hectares, with a yield of over 100 tons/ha.
